current fashion image consumption

Soooooooooo quick update because it's been a minute (actually, months to be specific):  I had a huge and awful reaction to a vaccine at the end of May and could 't look at a phone or laptop screen with getting a debilitating headache or dizzy spell.  I'm doing a LOT better now, though still have a ways to go in terms of recovery—but well enough to start mindlessly scrolling on tiktok and make little posts here again.

Usually I sort the images/fashion inspiration I like to pinterest, butttttttt I'm getting paranoid that my account will be deactivated since my pins keep getting flagged as explicit even though they aren’t, so I think it's for the best if I stop using that site as much,  Sucks because it is a great tool for image organizing, but if/when my account gets deleted, I don't want to be sad or upset about it.  So, here we go.

Lately I've been feeling a late 2000's abercrombie girl/steampunk couture groutfit/whimsical twee kind of vibe when it comes to style.  I made the (financially irresponsible) decision to order a vintage dELiA's sweater from ebay that kind of suits the vibe.  I don't think it's going to fit me that well honestly, but we'll see when it arrives.

I just adore those buttons.  I couldn’t help myself.

Anyways, you'll see what I mean when I'm talking about vibes below:

@quietfebruary on tiktok.  I've been really into gray-toned outfits, stripes, and mori kei recently.  This totally checks all those boxes.

Loveeeee the colored tights. @maisiedazey on tiktok

very mori kei-esque fit.  @myrid3ordie on tiktok.

2014 tumblr meets 2024.  @onlygrlnthewrld on tiktok.

Another mori kei kinda vibe. @dicxm_phisunee2 on tiktok.

What did I tell you—stripes and a late ‘00s vibe.  this fit is just scratching my brain right.  @satindreamer on tiktok

The tie as a skinny scarf is so cool I love this fit so much.@sophiegohla on tiktok

Def get lolita vibes from this outfit, and I love the piano skirt/scarf.  @pinkchocorose on tiktok.

Reminds me of dior homme fw 2004 which is one of my fave collections ever.  @tim.yasha on tiktok.

“I was a victim of the bass.” Same, actually. @mx3369 on tiktok

Alexah is by far one of my favorite style creators online.  love the grandma print shorts with the lacy shirt and skinny cardigan. @wardrobeofjunk on tiktok.

I think the grays are really beautiful and I love a good pleated skirt moment.  The tie feels a little gossip girl-esque too.  @ anthonychapman on tiktok.

again with the gray tones and lacy/layered looks…..ugh I wish I had clothes like this in my closed.  @sophiegohla on tiktok

Ariel is another style creator that I loveeeee.  See again: the gray tones, the stripes, and the stud shorts.  I was so obsessed with studs and spikes in middle school and love that they're coming back.  13 year old me really knew best. @b4rfbrain on tiktok

Brandy Melville skirt, goth style.  so much yes.  Love the layered necklaces.  @malloryheart on tiktok.

love her side bangs.  @leymie on tiktok.

More layered necklace inspo.  @gasohima on tiktok

LOVE the layering and neutral tones of this fit.  also getting a slight colonial vibe from the pants silhouette?  Into it.  @consumer.ism on tiktok.

I really like the texture of the fabrics here and the shape of the garments—boxy button down, wide legged jeans, etc.  @rollindoesit on tiktok.

Ok I think that's enough for today.  more inspo coming soon (hopefully.....not trying to jinx anything.)
