I love this photo series by Rania Matar that depicts girls from the U.S. and the Middle East in their bedrooms. I feel like teenage girl bedrooms are an object of so much interest across media, especially in film and photography. I think for a lot of teen girls, their bedroom serves as an extension of themselves and serve as a space where they can find themselves during the chaos of their teenage years, and it's interesting to see how each girl's room reflects and differs from the rooms across this series.
